The Minister of Interior, Local Government, and Reconciliation of the South West Government, Mr. Abdullahi Haji Hassan, convened a meeting today to oversee collaboration among agencies operating under the purview of the Ministry of Interior.
In attendance were the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs DKGS, the Minister of Humanitarian and Disaster DKGS, the President’s Adviser on Local Government Decentralization, and the Director General of the Ministry of Interior, along with representatives from agencies involved in the Stabilization and Decentralization of Local Government Services.
The meeting served as a platform for constructive dialogue and coordination, facilitated by prior correspondence among organizations engaged in stabilization and local governance initiatives.
During the session, the Ministry of Interior provided a comprehensive overview of the accomplishments and ongoing initiatives undertaken over the last year by the Government of Southwest Somalia.
